Happy new year!
My name is Rachel Bockover and I have just become the new Macaroni Kid publisher, for the Navarre, Milton, Fort Walton, and Destin area. My goals are to help families find family-friendly activities in one space. In the spirit of the new year, and becoming the new publisher for our area, I would like to tell you 21 things about me.
- I have been married for 7 years
- I have 3 children: 2 girls and 1 boy
- I am from Paradise, CA, and moved to Florida in March of 2019
- I am a Camp Fire survivor, in November of 2018 my hometown was completely destroyed by a fire started by an electric company.
- My youngest daughter has Down syndrome
- I love to cook and eat!
- I am a tax professional
- I have 2 dogs and a cat
- I love sushi
- I love being creative with arts and crafts
- I have a Cricut and I love it but am still a newbie
- I have 4 tattoos and each of them has significant meaning
- I love chips and salsa
- My children are my world
- If my husband would let me, I would take in every stray dog I find
- I don’t like snakes, I am terrified of them
- I love watching Food Network
- I love the beach but hate the sand
- I taught preschool for 6 years
- My entire family are redheads
- I have lived in 3 states
